Dear Dave/Brian/Ryanne,
My son and I spent 4 days with you this September in Grand Canyon with our guide, Scott. I wanted to write you a note to express my appreciation to you and your staf for a once in a lifetime experience. From our very first contact with Four Seasons, Ryanne was very courteous, helpful and patient with us in booking the right trip for us and continued to stay in touch over the months leading up to the trip to help us prepare. The pre-trip orientation was very informative, helpful and laid-back. All of the equipment was of top-quality and in “like-new” condition, clean & well-maintained. I was very impressed with your attention to detail, the care of your clients, and most of all your professionalism.
This brings me to one of the main reasons for writing this testimonial: I do not have the words to convey how impressed we were with our trip guide, Scott. With almost 30 years in management with a contracting firm, I meet and deal with a very wide scope of people. In today’s world, it is very easy to become cynical about the quality of people and their real motives. So real and genuine people are few and far between, but Scott is the real deal! He knows his stuff, truly cares about his guest’s health, safety and well-being, and takes every opportunity to insure that their experience is enjoyable and rewarding. He was very patient and well-organized. He always put us first above himself. At the end of a long day, he had the tents set up and prepared a delicious meal before we even realized it. I always felt the comfortable feeling that Scott was constantly and quietly watching us to see that we were feeling well and had our needs met. Also, in Scott’s personality, there is a rare mix of professionalism, humility, and the fine art of people skills. He has a great sense of humor and a wonderful childlike wonderment of the canyon that is infectious to everyone he guides. I left thinking that I had made a true friend.
You have surrounded yurself with a great staff that extends your work ethic and professionalism far past your website, telephone and front door. We wish you the best of luck and hope to see you again in the near future.
All the best,
M. Bolton
