We will hold a pre-trip orientation at 4:30pm the evening prior to your trip’s departure at the Four Season Outfitters shop in Flagstaff. Departure times and logistics for the following morning will be discussed at the orientation. Most trips will depart by 6am.

We will provide all transportation to/from trailheads for the duration of the trip. We will pick you up at your hotel in Flagstaff and return you there at the trip’s conclusion. Guests staying at the Embassy Suites (recommended) or Hampton Inn & Suites can leave their rental cars at the hotel. All guests are welcome to store extra luggage at our shop for the duration of the trip.

*Bright Angel Loop with Mule Support trips will meet at Grand Canyon’s South Rim at 5pm the evening prior to the trip’s departure. We do not provide transportation and guests will need to pay the park entrance fees upon arrival. Refer to your trip information packet for details.

You will meet your guide at the Best Western Abbey Inn in St. George at 7pm the evening prior to your trip’s scheduled departure for a pre-trip orientation. If you are staying at St. George hotel other than the Abbey Inn, please let us know if you need a ride to the orientation. Moab Trips

You will meet your guide at pre-determined location in Moab at 7am the morning of your trip’s scheduled departure for a brief pre-trip orientation.

San Francisco International Airport: About 4 hours (195 miles, 315km) from Yosemite Valley by private vehicle (use CA-120).

Oakland International Airport: About 4 hours (175 miles, 285km) from Yosemite Valley by private vehicle (use CA-120).

Merced Municipal Airport: The nearest commercial airport to Yosemite Valley, about 90 minutes from Yosemite’s Arch Rock Entrance and 110 minutes (85 miles, 135km) from Yosemite Valley by private vehicle (use CA-140).

Sacramento International Airport: About 4 hours (185 miles, 295km) from Yosemite Valley by private vehicle (use CA-120).

Reno/Tahoe International Airport: When the Tioga Road is open (late spring to mid-autumn only), about 5 hours (215 miles, 340km) from Yosemite Valley by private vehicle (use CA-120). However, it can be a good option for trips starting in the Tuolumne Meadows area

Shuttle Service

The free Valley Shuttle runs on a continuous loop through Yosemite Valley throughout the day all year-round. Park your car at your hotel or campground, or use the day parking lots located in Yosemite Village and Curry Village. The Valley Shuttle stops at all lodging and camping venues as well as the major eateries, shopping areas, popular attractions and trailheads. During the winter the Yosemite Valley Shuttle system operates 7am – 10pm and runs every 30 min. In the summer, buses run every 5 – 10 minutes.

YART-Yosemite Area Regional Transportation

Visit www.yarts.com for those that do not want to rent a car. You can catch the AMTRAK Train from San Francisco to Merced and then use the YART to get into the park. YART is also available from Fresno.
